On street parking is free after 4:30 pm Mon - Fri and all day Sat and Sun.

IMPORTANT PARKING UPDATE - DECEMBER 2025
The City of North Bay is currently changing the service provider used to manage parking downtown. If you currently use the Passport App to pay for parking, you will need to download the new HotSpotMobile App and start using it right away.
As part of the transition, new signs are being posted around the downtown core. Users will have an option to scan a QR code and pay instantly if they don’t want to download the App. It is also important to note that some of the current Zone numbers will be changing, and some new Zone numbers will be introduced.
Both the old and new Apps will work during the transition period. The City has not indicated how long the transition period will be, but it is not expected to be too long. Once the transition period has ended the Passport App will no longer function.
